Hey there! I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am that you’ve come across my page(s).

My name’s Jaya—a snap-happy individual based in the diverse city of Renton, WA. There’s nothing like the excitement I feel every time I’m booked for a shoot no matter the subject; including individual portraits of people of all ages (senior pics, anyone?), people in bunches such as the glamorous pre-prom shoot, families, or even our favorite canine friends (a favorite, but not a preference. I just really love dogs).

My style of photography is still currently—like photos—developing, but I’m drawn to both portraiture and still life photography. I like to think that my specialty is composition. As for the mood in pictures, people will generally tell me the type of feel they’re after.  I do, however, prefer to shoot with natural lighting, the end goal being brighter pictures with even brighter smiles peeking through.

Aside from the business talk, you’ve probably clicked on this page to get an idea of who I am as a person (I’m flattered, by the way). First off, I’m really bad at answering the ‘tell me about yourself’ portion on applications of all kinds. But all joking aside, you should know that I find solace in other people's happiness & my happiness resides in good food. I love meeting new people, and most of all, I enjoy a good conversation, and we should have one sometime.
